Launch of Rent Officer for Northern Ireland website

I am pleased to welcome you to the Rent Officer for Northern Ireland’s internet site.  The site provides information about the Private Tenancies (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 that comes into effect on 1st April 2007 and explains how a new system of rent control will affect private tenancies.

On this site you will find details on the role of the Rent Officer and a wide range of information relevant to the private rented sector in Northern Ireland.  

You can search for rents that have been determined by the Rent Officer on the online Rent Register.  You can read a number of guides for private landlords and tenants in the publications area as well having your questions answered in the frequently asked questions section.
